Outside in

This illustration was created by me for small portfolio book called Outside In. The book was part of an internal exhibition hosted for the iArts third years graduation ceremony of 2015.

Get moving!

Renée Verwey was busy with the final touches for her dissertation and so was I, although the focus for me was more into the design and layout of the dissertation. Get moving! shows the outcome of a research evaluating the effects of mobile technology in healthcare. More specifically, with stimulating elderly people with diabetes and with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) to enhance their daily exercise routine.

For the design, I used photographs from Eadweard Muybridge. A pioneer in early photography and who was fascinated with movement of people. Because movement was his main topic, I could connect it to the theme of Renée Verweys work. Combining it with a modern twist and fitting it to the needs of a dissertation.
